Okay so this is what I've done, married one of my favourite songs with one of my favourite movies. If you know the film, obviously you will know the story but for those that don't it can still be a good adventure, essentially a two-hour story in an eighth of the time.
There are a couple of parts I really like of course, the images relating to the lyrics and later where on three drum beats lasting a just under a second each time I hold a photograph before the video shoots off again, a nice stop-start feel to that.
I remember a friend, Gary years ago, also loved this song, he would play it loud in his Jaguar and thump the steering wheel to those exact beats I am describing.
Anyway, three days putting this together, enjoy it while it lasts (or maybe they'll let me keep it).
SONG: Telegraph Road, Dire Straits, Love Over Gold, 1982. FILM: Paris Texas, A Wim Wenders movie, 1984 starring Harry Dean Stanton, Dean Stockwell, Nastassja Kinski, and Hunter Carson.
I think it's still up you know Yorko. You usually hear within the first hour if it has been blocked. Usually this is because a copyright claim is made by the recording company or film distributor or both which is annoying because a lot of my work is up online and endorsed by them, it's a case of pot luck really. But I have started to give projects title but without tagging the artist, give them as little to go on, Youtube really have got too big for their boots now, offering us an ad-free version which of course we would have to pay for. I think I might put that one up as a topic here today.
It should play here fine now but they have been at it again...

Well... it was working earlier again... but it's only one click.
This is a class song, as one Youtuber wrote about it...
I think this is one of most beautiful song in the world. This is story, story about us, humans, and our planet. We are able to send man on moon, but we aren't able to stop changes which was started by us. (e.g. desertification). Earth is blue diamond in crown of our sun. When our ancestors came out from the sea, our story begun, after billions of years first pioneers came to new world. Technical revolution came with many new technologies, railway caused first information revolution. beeping of telegraph connect nations. First in history people was connected at real time. From 19th century we share every crisis, every war, simply everything.

Cheapskates. I haven't had that problem at all. I just showed it to a friend on Youtube. Somewhere in the account settings you can make it viewable on other websites Toril, unfortunately I don't know how this is done.
I find across a lot of music forums Dire Straits are pretty much loathed. I have never understood this. Maybe 40% of households have a copy of Brothers In Arms. Permission to do a Dire Straits studio albums poll.
They do get some stick and I blame Money for Nothing for that fact, brilliant musically
Poll away Apollo
But that is a great song, ought not to be their flagship though, the first thing I heard by them same as a lot of people, poll will have to wait until tomorrow now.
