Just a heads up for anyone who's interested, tonight at 7pm on The Jewellery Channel, they're selling 7 pairs of different coloured pearl studs for under £20.
Yes, you need an account set up in the much the same way as QVC. They give you a pin number which you use to login, then you can buy online from the live TV link, or buy on the phone. It recognises your telephone number when you ring in.
I'm pretty certain you can return earrings now with TJC as long as the packet isn't opened?
I would have to say no, Honora is definitely better and the quality is more consistent.
That said, Honora is considerably more expensive than similar designs at the lower end of TJC's ranges. A few years ago they would have been similarly matched in price and quality, but times changed. I've bought some lovely earrings from TJC over the years, quite often when I've been channel hopping and just been lucky. Always worth an occasional look, especially when they have a pearl day event, they will have different price ranges throughout the day.

I've yet to buy anything other than absolute bargains from TJC and I have to say those are hit and miss. A kunzite quartz ring was quite flimsy but very pretty. Or it was until a stone fell out and then I left it on the kitchen windowsill. Now the remaining two stones are a wonderful pale tobacco stained colour.
A bezel set amethyst I bought, however, is gorgeous. Beautiful colour (and stable! ... I left it on the kitchen windowsill to test it lol).
I probably haven't paid more than £15 for anything. So I can accept some will be a bit hit and miss. But the more expensive pieces haven't tempted me. I'm really a TV jewellery shopper and not on line so I think that might be why.
