What a crass and annoying idea. I wish they would concentrated their efforts on restoring quality and good service in their core business, which I was under the impression was selling groceries.

I has a survey to complete for them yesterday and one of the questions was about how I felt about the £40 minimum shop- my answer was very very negative.
I'm enjoying shopping around more now, but the weekly £30 delivery was just right for me during the month, and stopped me overspending. I guess that answers why they raised it.
I haven't bothered since, I mostly go to Lidl now for the few bits I need mid-month.

That was something that was asked- did I shop more with them after the increase or go to other shops as well? I told them I spent less and went to other places.I save up the big heavy things like bottles and cat food and do less shops with them.
Do you think supermarkets take a blind bit of notice? I've been complaining about the way Ocado deliveries are packed ever since I started using them - ie 12 bottles of beer and 4 tins of beans on top of a packet of biscuits in one bag and a copy of the RadioTimes on its own in another!
"It's the way the warehouse is laid out......." say the drivers.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I do one bulk delivery shop a month then top that up with a weekly visit. It suits me. I store things like cat food and drinks for the month in the garage.
We've got good drivers/delivery guys too. They leave us with the plastic crates which they stack in the garage. and we hand them the empty ones from last month. Its quick for us and them.
