Well this is a very close-run thing. Bucks Fizz have a slender lead so time to remind us all what the dancing was like. It really is hard not to imagine Rod, Jane and Freddie.
As soon as I heard 'Making Your Mind Up' I felt it would win it for us - I loved it and I still do. I also went for 'Beg, Steal or Borrow' - I loved the New Seekers with a passion (Marty, mostly!) - and then was torn between 'Knock, Knock, Who's There' and 'Puppet on a String'. I went for the former as I just like it as a song in its own right, but 'Puppet' won it for us and is such a good bouncy tune they are about equal!

Mum had this single she played a lot. It was called Never Ending Song Of Love. I can almost see the single now. I think the b-side was called Cincinatti. I also liked their other hits I Get A Little Sentimental Over You and You Won't Find Another Fool Like Me. Easy listening at its best? Do I sense a Dr. Hook poll coming on? Anyway when even younger I can remember Morningtown Ride by the original Seekers, they were Australian? Also Georgie Girl if that was by them.
