Doesn't necessarily work AF- since I have grown mine I don't wash every day because I can tie it back but when I was working I had to wash it every day as it doesn't look good after I have slept on it. Not greasy but like the wild woman of Borneo. Dry shampoo leaves it like felt. I have recently found a heated brush which is like straighteners ( will not dry hair) that smooths it out.
I'm using the John Frieda root lift spray after washing, it works well for a day or two. I have started back combing the crown which also works well but needs a lot of spray. As FP says, the reviews for the bumpits is mixed but for a couple of quid it's worth experimenting. Watch this space!
I think it might work well once I have figured out how to fix it in. The hair on my crown is only about 5-6 inches long so not long enough to cover it properly. There are a few different options and they are quite cheap to buy, so I will try others when my hair is a bit longer.
