She is a sweetie pie, that's true. She doesn't seem to mind being brushed lily, but she insists on rolling from side to side while laying on her back so when we are done she looks as tatty as when we started. She has to be caught to go in the porch, but once she's in she accepts that's it until morning. No more throwing herself at the door or tipping up the umbrella jar.
I wasn't nervous as such, but I she took off at such a pace that I wondered if I'd have trouble getting her back in. Very busy she was
Yes, I brush her everyday Frazz and the sofa gets the rubber glove treatment. She thinks grooming is a huge joke and rolls which rather defeats the object.
I'm always worried when I let them out the first time in case they don't come back but kittens are so nervous the slightest noise and they bolt back in but it's different with an adult cat so I'd have had my heart in my mouth
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
If she's happy being brushed every day then go with it. Alf is very happy being brushed but Harvey just will not be brushed at all. Used to worry me but actually neither of them needs brushing. They cope perfectly well. I do brush Alf once a week or so but mainly because he likes it.
Alf is exactly the same. His fur reverts to its scruffy, curly norm within minutes of being brushed. Although he doesn't roll from side to side. Too much effort I expect lol.
