Thanks to you Mr Moody I have just spent the last two hours on You Tube watching videos of wonderful Jazz Funk. I was so engrossed I forgot to have my dinner.

I thought it was just blokes that couldn't multi-task.
They can't! And they also can't see that their wife is so busy reliving her youth that she did not eat anything and nip to the kitchen and make a sandwich!
So it seems, unsurprisingly, Donna Summer's classic 'I Feel Love' is the clear winner here, I thought it would be, it deserves it. Second placings for Bee Gees and EWF are also quite predictable, though personally not for me.
MJ and Diana Ross came as a surprise, only pulling one vote each, and naff all for Prince and MadDonna. Well I can live with that.
I am however quite mortified the lovely Sophie only got two nominations.
Plenty of time of course for more votes to come flooding in, so things can still change. Sophie is her name, btw.
Thanks to everyone who's voted, I was warned there might be a poor turnout, but it's proved very popular. So much so that I thought we might do some more. And herein lies my concern, I have a rather tasty list of New Wave and Post Punk ditties at hand for another poll, but would this genre be agreeable with many here? I know Yorko might approve, but I was being a tad selfish when compiling my list, so what are your thoughts on this please? I won't be offended if everyone laughs and points, honest. okey1
I have no idea how many people would have an opinion on new wave and post punk on here so can't speak for the turn out but there is no problem with posting it. The starting of threads/poll etc are always encouraged so please feel free

OK, thanks.
I'll see if there's any negative feedback first, if not I'll post it up tomorrow. It was a bit of a selfish idea, but like you say anyone else can do their own polls for lurve songs or Peruvian throat gargling acts as they wish.
I will obviously participate and it may snare some new members, who knows
Actually, looking at the list, there's nothing too obscure or offensive to the ears, especially since I ditched The Boomtown Rats and Skids for being cr*p, so it should be fine.
