I popped into Lidl's today and if anyone's interested they have Prosecco on offer at £4.99 a bottle, I haven't tried it yet but the guy in the queue behind me who also had one say's it's great will let you know when I've tasted it
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
It's absolutely fine, that bottle says extra dry I like Brut so wasn't worried about that but I'd say it's only as dry as a normal Prosecco and certainly worth buying at £4.99

I saw it in the leaflet and did wonder if it was worth it. If I could get there myself I might give it a go, but it's no good asking Mr EB - he would consider it much too frivolous. Not to mention he would whinge about having to carry a crate of it home.
Mr EB has been up to our Lidl quite early (for him!) today - bless him.
I have real problems using kitchen tools because of my hands and am often in danger of taking my fingers off if the knife or food slips (dodgy grip) plus I can't hold a knife for long! I have a V-slicer, which is fine for small amounts, but I can't manage more than a small carrot usually. I have been looking at food processors for a while but they are either very small and basic or very expensive. They also often come with a blender attachment which I don't need.
Looking at this week's Lidl leaflet and, lo and behold, I spotted a processor with chopping and mixing blades plus grating and slicing discs - £19.99. It's not huge but it's big enough nor is it very powerful but it will do for me. Hence Mr EB's early trip. I'm very happy - it fits easily in the cupboard and is not too heavy. And it's PINK!
Can't now afford any food to process in it but there's always next week!
