I must have missed the sperm-laden F&M topic, now I'm intrigued, what is an F&M?
Mr. Cass is generally excellent at present-buying but even non too subtle hints often pass him by. Our gifts are always surprises but when I got a Pandora bracelet, I told Celeste the cat, in Mr. Cass's presence, that she would no longer be troubled about what to buy me as stocking fillers/small gifts for some time. It appears that neither she, nor himself, were paying attention. He covered himself by saying he hadn't wanted to appear to lack imagination.....
Cats are generally great buffers though as in 'Sotiris, your Dad is such a numpty' "Cosmo, ask your Mum where she has hidden my paperwork....'
Has anyone got any recommendations for a Jo Malone fragrance that OH can buy me for Christmas? He hasn't actually said that he will yet, but I have every confidence in him.
I still have some left of a gift set my boss bought me a year ago - it had 5 9ml bottles and every one of them was lovely. The following birthday OH bought me Peony & Blush suede. Loved that too. Then last Christmas I got the Pom Noir gift set. I would like something different this year. I few years ago I never thought I would ever get to try the brand and now I have quite a few. I am lucky.
PS. Before the boss's gift, a dear friend sent me a gift set. It was so kind and thoughtful as it was sent from the UK.
I found the experience of going into a Jo Malone shop rather overwhelming as I rarely change perfumes unless forced to because the manufacturers tamper with the ingredients.
Love Pom Noir because it smells like a real old fashioned scent created from real flowers to me and I felt the same way about Red Roses and Pear and Freesia, although the P&F didn't last very long on me.
I got a sample of the French Lime Blossom and hate it, it smells like a cloying fly spray.

FP Minor's fiancee likes the Red Roses. I have the Pear & Freesia as well as the Pom Noir but the P&F hasn't been used up because I love the Pom Noir so much. Has anyone tried any of her new perfumes from her own Jo Loves brand?
Until I saw Jo Malone on one of our breakfast shows here, I had no idea she had sold the company to Estee Lauder some years back. My boss works for a store that has a large JM selection. She said there were comments from customers that the quality went down when EL took over. Jo was over here promoting the Jo Loves range. I would like to try some of them.
