I'm sure that this mascara was mentioned in another thread, but I can't find it. I just remember telling you that I'd ordered it in advanced order and that I'd let you know what it was like when it arrived. It arrived at lunchtime and I've just had a go with it. As a blonde I often end up with the roots of my lashes staying that colour, as getting right to the base usually ends up with my sticking the mascara brush in my eye! The brush on the IT thin line mascara is unbelievably thin and true to what they said on air, it does get right to the lash base without causing injury. It's also one of the few mascaras that I've used that hasn't clumped. Assuming that I don't experience a reaction later then I can see this becoming my preferred mascara.
I cut down a brush to experiment & then went to Boots to buy NYX The Skinny Mascara £6.50. It's great. As Toril points out, it gets right to the base & yes, it's very skinny. I can't get a tight line with it though.
I haven't bothered trying to get a tight line. I'm just grateful to be able to get right to the lash base after years of trying and poking myself in the eye. However, getting to the base makes it look as though I've got a bit of eyeliner on. The reviews from some people on QVC talk about clumping. Goodness knows how they're applying it then because I've had none at all. I used to favour the 2000 calorie mascara, but I will definitely be repurchasing the IT.
I am wedded to Eyeko for eyeliner and mascara, they are brilliant for me but I must say that the IT eyebrow pencil is the best I have ever used. I loved Models Prefer/YBF and was upset when they stopped selling it, but the IT ones are even better.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

I went to the website to have a look at both products. As they are sold in duos it is good to get a review from a trusted souce before splashing the cash. Don't need to replenish at the moment but might give these a go when I do need to.
Yes, it does define the base of the lashes, but the woman demonstrating the mascara on Q had a definite liner effect. I'm just jealous I can't do it! I've pressed & wiggled to no avail LOL
I dare not try it. I'm certain to jab myself in the eye lol.
And also I have been using a solid/powder eyeliner with a dampened fine artist's brush for so long I just don't think I could get anything else quite so fine or precise. I can thicken it up for going out but I have it down to a fine art ... ta dah!! ... for daytime.
Also I have black eyelashes so I tend not to need to get right to the base. Or should that be I don't bother lol.
