What I found disturbing in the bit I read was that 'unacceptable levels' had been found. You mean to tell me that there is an acceptable level for paint thinner in your gravy?
I like gravy, and we do use gravy granules for everyday meals, but most granules have gluten in (except the posh Bisto in the glass jar) so it doesn't bother me! If we have a roast I always make my own gravy but Mr EB and the boys have gravy with almost everything so granules are a must.
Yes, I do that as well Y. I always do a large roast and freeze down individual meals. I put any spare gravy into pots and freeze, handy for shepherds pies and the like.
They can do what they like with their gravy granules, but I swear the day they put paint thinner in the Perlenbacher will be the day I stop patronising this establishment.
