OPPERMAN UNICAR 2-seater coupè.
Rather crude Laurie Bond design with glass-fibre body on a glass-fibre platform, strut type ifs, trailing arms at the rear, and mechanical brakes. Generally with Excelsior 'twin', but early ones had 322cc Anzani engines; kits (£265, or £170 less engine/gearbox) sold from 1958. There are better minicars.
Technical Specifications Engine: 322cc/328cc (S2 TS) Configuration: Rear engine, rear-wheel drive Production dates: 1956 to 1959

UNIPOWER GT 2-seater coupè.
Fascinating little car only 40ins high, with Mini power pack (locked steering) just in front of the rear 'axle, glass-fibre body bonded to a tubular space-frame, all-coil springing and dual-circuit disc/drum brakes. Hard to get in, but when you are, there's 100mph with the small Cooper engine, and a claimed 120mph with the 1275cc unit - although Motor could only clock 106mph with their test car. Front radiator, and right-hand, still-mounted gearshift.
Technical Specifications Engine: 998cc/1275cc (S4 OHV) Configuration: Rear engine, rear-wheel drive Production dates: 1966 to 1970 Number produced: 75
