Top of the range is the full size Luna which comes with bells and whistles in various options depending on skin type. 25 bought the Play which can't be recharged, is small - a bit bigger than a cotton wool pad- but is the cheapest in the range. She suffers from eczema and has to be very careful so she was not ready to invest until she tried it out. Her skin looked amazing when I saw her on Friday and she loves it, so on her recommendation I had a wander around the internet looking at the options. The site above was one of the best I came across explaining the options available.
I went for the Luna mini which is slightly larger than the play and it is rechargeable. I found a bargain on eBay so we'll see.
I had to return the Clarisonic I bought, it was much too harsh for my skin - shame the mini version of this doesn't come in the sensitive option as it looks the perfect size to me.

You are much better than I am at keeping up these things - I bought a magnitone brush in September 2014, but it is languishing in a drawer as I got too idle to use it regularly.
I've got a Clarisonic Mia in a drawer too Berry McPaper-cuts and yes, it was too harsh for me Nellie. I only used it at night, then two or three times a week & eventually abandoned it altogether. I'm sure if this Luna mini is too harsh one of my Rugrats will be only too willing to take it off my hands.
I bought the clarasonic about 6 years ago. They are not cheap and I was determined to use it regularly. I bought the head for sensitive skin but it was still quite harsh. I kept forgetting to use it and then discarded it completely. I would rather use muslin cloths for the nice towelling mitts I bought recently from Primark.

I am back doing that too Itchy , though with the cloths that Gatineau sell rather than muslin ones. Found a cheap source and then I recycle them for cleaning the bathroom. I wish I could get myself into using something like Liv 's Luna but with all the other daily maintenance I need , it gets squeezed out. Some days it seems like it takes till lunchtime to get all the faffing finished and then I look no different.
You name it, I bought it in the search for perfection LOL
Have a purple mini Foreo (which I have still not charged cos I keep forgetting to use it). Bought it about 2 years ago - a good deal 25% off. Very gentle on the skin and no reaction ...
LIke others I have a Clarisonic stashed away - too harsh.
Options are good, but when it's as confusing as this lot are it hurts my head. I just wanted a small version at a knock-down price. Not too much to ask is it!
I got mine from eBay Berry McPaper-cuts, new & unused. Back of a lorry job maybe LOL Amazon sells them as well, but I didn't look that closely. Amazon keeps throwing up stuff I didn't sign in for and I find that annoying. It does sell similar devices at a fraction of the price of a Luna, but I decided to stick with the make 25 recommended.
I was going to write I don't use many devices, but that's not strictly true. I bought an electric nail filing system in Lidl 1-2 years ago (£10 or £15 ?) & I use that a lot. I also bought a hard skin thingie, again from Lidl & I use that when the need arises. 31 borrowed and never returned the leg hair plucker thing I bought in Lidl for about a tenner. Last time I was there, Lidl were selling hand-held microdermabrasion units, but I was a bit scared of that. I know they sell handheld on Q.
