I think it's so sad when a company fails, for whatever reason. I used to like Julian when he was on QVC because he didn't have the 'hard sell approach like some of the current QVC presenters do. (No names mentioned, but I wish she'd stay in Devon.)

I stopped watching because I found myself coveting items but they would only post to the U.K.
I'm fond of Julian, he used to read the ST forum and had the good grace to laugh at some of the spoof threads we wrote purporting to come from him.

He rarely suffered from any of the really malicious comments directed at other presenters,

It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
