I have one. It's got about 10k books that you can either download to your PC and add to an ereader or you can simply email to your Kindle. It has a lot of random stuff, lots of classics and some more recent books too. Nothing from the last three or four years though.
Anyway if there's any interest I can set it up so that forum members can access it and download books whenever, and however many, they wish.
It is just a list of files though, so you have to know which author you're looking for then choose from however many books there are.
The plan would be to set it up in the cloud with everyone able to have access from the one username and password. At the minute it is on my laptop and in the cloud but it's stored on my business cloud server so I'd need to move it from there.
It's perfectly possible though if peeps are interested.
A nice thought, Tinks. I actually use freebooksy, who email me every day with books free to download in the categories I have told them I am interested in. I have come across some amazing authors this way.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I've got the storage set up but I haven't had a chance yet to shuffle the books over.
This is a lovely thing to have Cass but you need to know which author/book you want. There's no nice user friendly aspect to it. But there are books by authors like:
Agatha Christie Neil Gamen Harlen Coben Stephen King Ian Rankin Dorothy L Sayers
Mainly well known authors and classics. Not everything is there that you might want but it's a fabulous resource to be able to share.
I meant to say that I have a Kindle library too, but it is full of authors that people won't have heard of ( as I hadn't) so it would be useless to share.
