Mmmmmmm, gravy, you can't have meat without gravy, it's a crime...
I couldn't eat the lamb, though. I hate the taste and smell of lamb, it always smells foisty, to me. It is heresy to say this here, though, the Greeks adore it and it is always served to guests to show them how much they are welcome and valued.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I am not keen on lamb - eat it about twice a year (a slice or two, no fat or bones), slathered in mint sauce .. I am with Cass on the strange smell and cold lamb

I am not keen on cold lamb. I don’t think Mr FP and Boris can eat it all between them though. Katya and I have had enough. I do wonder what would have happened to it if I had rejected it on Saturday. As it had been out on the van I doubt if they would have it back in store. Perhaps the drivers have first dabs.
I'm in agreement about cold lamb, love it hot but not keen on it cold it's too fatty but ofcourse it's the fat that gives it taste and flavour. As I don't really like it cold and my family don't like lamb I rarely get a joint so I usually have chops or lamb hocks
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
