Good grief! Whilst I was doing some clearing out I came across some Diamonique rings that were among my first purchases in the days of Steve Whatley and Paul Lavers. Paul Lavers used to make me laugh.

Not bad at all - for crystal or whatever it is. It's a pair you can wear together because of the v shape. I haven’t looked carefully enough but it could be they are the older American carat gold.
I saw a couple of those "lab created diamond" pieces - why bother? Diamonique is far nicer, much cheaper and just as manmade.
And the prices for the new lab created “diamonds” is obscene. You would think that QVC had more sensitivity at the moment when a lot of people are struggling because their wages have been reduced or they’ve been made redundant.
Their current mantra is “always with you.” Yeah right, if you live in a fantasy world.
Laboratory created as well and just as beautiful in my mind.
Moissanite is a laboratory created gemstone using silicon carbide, and looks very much like good quality diamonds. 2ct solitaire is well under £2,000. Interesting their patent expired 3-4 years ago.
I know the new range is gold, whereas diamonique is usually has a silver base, but there’s no way that this ring has £1700 worth of gold in it. It costs £1700 - £1999 depending on the size.
This diamonique one is £39. Neither of them are my style but, if they were, I’d choose the £39 one.
