M has been telling us for years that we should use an SPF and the research backs her up. “The dermatologist recommended staying out of the sun as much as possible and always using an SPF to fight ageing. ” was the conclusion of the BBC programme. I am just trying the Bare Minerals tinted Mousturiser SPF 30 ( Complexion Rescue) to minimise my get up and go routine.
I don't know about that "guru" bit ^ but I'll take it SPF everyday come rain or shine, winter as well as summer. Let us know what you think of BM Tinted Berry McPaper-cuts
I do use an SPF every day. I've found M's advice on glycolic a game changer. I use a high street one but it's really changed my skin for the better and it was pretty darned good before!
FP I keep meaning to ask, how are you after your bounce down the stairs? Feeling better I hope.
I use Ultrasun all year round. The one for the face serves as a moisturiser or sometimes, if my skin needs it, I put another moisturiser on as well. Mind you, as I've never been a sun worshipper, and have never burnt, the SPF is probably not needed, but I use it anyway. Better to be safe than sorry and it's better than having a wrinkled skin like rhinoceros hide.
Yes @itchy, I have. I used to get on well with it but last year or a bit before, I found it was not moisturising enough for me so I switched to something else & slap it on regularly if I'm outside. I think there are very few products that suit indefinitely. A real game changer for me this last year was finding Lush Ultrabland cleanser. I adore it ... So far.
Glad that you get on with glycolic acid @tinkerbelle Sounds scary, but it does make a difference.
