I finally finished the storage unit that Mr EB bought me for my birthday. It has taken me about three weeks or so as I can only do a bit at a time but I am pleased with the finished item! Now all I have to do is figure out where to put the darn thing and then I can start stacking the shelves and so forth - and covering up most of the work I have put into it!
They are DCWV, Berry McPaper-cuts , and really are lovely. Some of them are glittered and it still shows through the varnish/sealer which is good. I have loads of DCWV paper pads - they are all fab!
I'm getting there, Tink! It is in place and starting to fill up but I am trying to keep it from just getting buried in a pile of stuff! I would still like to see some of the pretty papers and so on. It is a good opportunity to have a sort through my stash, get organised and get rid of some bits - not easy for us crafters!!
I've been busy again! Some of you may recall (from elsewhere, I think) that I got three drawer units to assemble and decorate for my birthday maybe 4 years ago. One was missing a couple of pieces and had duplicates of others and when contacted they sent me a complete new kit. The 'dodgy' one just needed a couple of bits cutting off and sanding and then some filler would be needed in places but I effectively had a free unit. As I had done the 3 that Mr EB gave me I wasn't in any rush but I finally decided to get on with it!
As always it has taken some time, especially with the 'doctoring' that I had to do, but I finished it this morning. All my other ones have been dark coloured but I went cream/ivory for a change - I was thinking of putting it on my bedside shelf for bits and bobs so went a bit more 'girly'! Some of the papers are glittered which obviously doesn't show up so well in the photos. I've have included my ubiquitous brass bee and added a brass butterfly for good measure! I'm very pleased with it.
(Berry McPaper-cuts, papers are another DCWV pad - The Chateau Lavender Stack, absolutely beautiful.)

I love lots of little drawers EarlyBird. It’s gorgeous. I have been making FP Major’s birthday card today. His birthday is three days before mine, my mother’s was the day after mine and her mother a week later.
