Being as no one has gone for Yorko's chicken, which I'm sure is incredibly tasty, might I suggest a trip to Morrison's deli counter. Six extra hot onion bhajis for a quid - I kid you not, they're the business.
I like the roast in a bag chickens, I usually buy a ready-stuffed one.
There is a Morrisons close by, but getting in and out via the Town's awful one-way system, means it is not a regular visit for me. Shame because I like Morrisons.
I bought a cook in the bag chicken from Waitrose on Tuesday, but put it inside my own roasting bag. 😳 It was delicious and lasted me for three evening meals and a lunch, but it cost more than the Morrisons one as it was Waitrose. 😜
The best chickens I have ever had are the cooked ones from Costco. Really succulent and tasty and about £4. There is a Morrisons about 4 miles away but I've never shopped there.
The Morrison's ready cooked chickens are lovely, very tasty and moist (watch it Mr M) I don't have one near me now but when I did I occasionally bought the lemon and garlic one
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
I do have a Morrisons about 6 miles away but I never go in unless I’m passing otherwise it’s a bit of a trek and I drive past two other supermarkets to get there.
I have to pass lots of supermarkets to get to our nearest one but it's worth it as the meat is always excellent, there is a very helpful instore butcher and they are one of the few places that still sell skirt, shin or silverside for slow cooking.
I do think the "misting" of the fruit and veg is a bit daft - surely surface dampness encourages mould?
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.

Oh now that’s worth knowing Nellie. I can buy shin or silverside in Sains but not skirt and skirt is otherwise known as pasty beef. So I shall be making a trip.
