Bought some of my favourite lipgloss which is not available here but can get through Amazon- £14.84 custom charges! Have had to pay online before they deliver! I ordered two so that gives me some time to look for a cheaper equivalent here.
Wow that's a lot FP, I know from when I've had to pay Customs charges that the cost does vary (I think it depends what it is?) and then there's VAT and the Post Office's own charge for collecting it, so it all mounts up! I've only bought things that I can't get here then I factor in the extra costs of the US delivery and customs charges to see if it's still worth it and normally it is
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
Our customs charge for any parcel from outside the EU that costs more than 22 euros, which includes P&P. When we Brexit, we will have to find alternative suppliers. I may have to learn German so I can use German QVC!

I'm assuming you don't want it in coral, the only colour they have in Liberty of London at the moment. If you tell me the colour, I'll keep an eye out here, as we often get American brands as one-off promotions in Sephora and Hondos. Nothing worse than finding a brand you like and then having difficulty getting it. I use a MAC ultrawear liquid foundation which is the only thing I have found that doesn't melt in the heat. Last year I went to the MAC shop to buy another bottle and was told it now comes in a tube "exactly the same colour and quality, but handier". I bought a tube, got it home and found that , not only was the colour not the same, but it went all chalky on the face. They still had bottles on the website so I stocked up. Now I find that they haven't withdrawn the bottles (phew!), and never had, they must have been out of stock in the shop at the time.

Thanks Cass - my preferred shade is berry and I did get it from Liberty’s of London originally and had seen it at Selfridges once , but they don’t seem to stock it now. I also use her under the eye thingy, blusher, and light & lift face colour powder when I put a proper face on which came in her make up planner along with the lip gloss and some other stuff I didn’t like that I got for a Christmas pressie a couple of years back.

They are initially cheaper on Amazon and last time I didn’t get charged for customs so it was a bargain. It must have been me being greedy and ordering two!
