Wanted to see him but I can’t carry the basket on my own so it will be Monday
Where's Mr FP?
Anyway a good sign if Boris has gone outside, he's not been spooked by his ordeal. Let's hope he tries some food later and more importantly a drink. Fingers crossed still.
LOL, I thought this thread was going to be about Boris Johnson's latest antics.!
Really sorry to hear about Boris the Cat. Poor boy, it's so worrying when they are unwell. Our big bruiser of a cat, Cosmo, is so soft that he lets all or any of the others steal his food - he just sits there looking sad. However, when he is outside, he doesn't know how to melt away either and gets into scraps that he is never going to win because he is not a fighter. Hope Boris is back to his old self, soon.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

He is still not eating but is drinking and has actually miaouwed this morning and has been rolling over in the sunshine.Separate quarters from Katya so his intake can be monitored more closely. Vet’s appointment in the morning. Holding my breath.
Holding my breath with you. Hope he continues to improve. It would be good if he could eat something. That'd make me feel better at least! So hard when they're poorly because they just can't say what's wrong.

The vet thinks he might have had a bout of pancreatitis which is very difficult to diagnose but he had the general symptons. His temperature is normal again and although appetite is down he has eaten as well as taken in water. He is much more like himself and it took a lot more holding on to keep him steady when she applied the thermometer. No more tests for the moment. He has self medicated!Hopefully he will pick up more over the next few days. Such a relief. My sister was flabbergasted when I told her what we had paid for the consultations etc - much cheaper in Germany.
