I cannot resist Phill’s wares as he makes me laugh when I watch him craft and he has such high standards. I got his Christmas crackle paste to try and it has arrived so I will be experimenting. This year I think I will be making several versions of a Christmas card as I have quite a few ideas to try. I have some fab Tonic paper as well as Phill’s crackle paste. I also have some MDF shapes up my sleeve.
I do very little mixed media these days, although I did in the past, it's just not my thing. I hadn't realised how depleted my Christmas stash had become last year and there was nothing in the craft shops here so I featured MDF shapes on my cards last Christmas. I can never remember how to post pictures on here but I will try later, or I may have to wait until Sam comes home from work....
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

Phill isn’t a mixed media man either and his demos are always cards but his new crackle paste is a one stop paste and goes well through stencils. I have already used my go foil and press to turn my mini MDF baubles into foiled ones - pleased with the result. Last year I used the machine to foil my sentiment on the cards. I will paint my gingerbread men though as the MDF isn’t as good quality and I don’t think will foil as well although I might try one with copper foil to see if it looks like gingerbread.
Crackle paste is nice - does it come in lots of colours? I tend not to buy his stuff - sorry, I can't stand the man! - but I might be persuaded if the price is right.

The last lot was six pots : COSMIC SHIMMER SET OF 6 X 75ML CRACKLE PASTES - RED, BLUE, PURPLE, CARAMEL, GREEN & ROSE for £4.50 a pot. It does what it says as I have tried them.
