I'm not normally fussed who I get in the Strictly sweep but I would very much like Cat (ie D J-J) this time. Not because I think he will win, I just like him! I might even watch a few minutes here and there if he happens to be on screen.
He could certainly move when they filmed Tongue Tied but whether he still can is another matter - that was 31 years ago! My son saw him do Tongue Tied live at a Comicon a couple of years ago but he didn't comment on his dancing prowess! I believe he was one of the original cast of Starlight Express too - which means he can dance on roller skates!
Graeme Swann is from my area. He was interviewed on our local news this morning.
But like most of the ones named so far, I've not heard of him (I loathe cricket anyway.) The fact that some of them are virtually unknown, or you have to look them up on Google, makes me wonder why they use the word 'celebrity.' 😳
Still - famous, unknown or however they're referred to, I won't be watching.
I rarely watch it live because it’s just too bloody long and these days if they start with the odd camera angles and swinging the camera around the people then I’ve got to look away or whizz on. And I can’t watch the Viennese waltz at all lol.
I got into the habit of recording it so I could whizz through the boring bits when Bruce Forsythe presented it and have carried that on and on Sundays I only watch the dance off. As Toril says the term 'celebrity' is overused as other than Danny John-Jules and Katie Piper I've not heard of any of them but that's about par for the course for me
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
