It does sound good, as does the cashew one - I love cashew nuts.
I must admit that much as love cooking I normally use a jar. It's a combination of not always being able to do the prep so a jar is easier, and having to plan in advance so my personal shopper can buy the ingredients to cook from scratch! Then he buys them, I'm not able to prep and they end up getting thrown away. I used to love spending hours planning meals, shopping for them and then cooking - ticks me off that I can't now so I tend to go to the other extreme!
I love to cook too but these days I regularly eat alone so I do find myself not wanting “all that faff” just for me. And the other issue is time. I eat stir fry most weeks. I prefer noodles to rice and Sains do brilliant packs a fresh noodles. At a push I can buy the noodles, a pre prepared pack of veg and a sauce and still have a meal in minutes.
I do use the Blue Dragon sauces. Both the one meal ones and the larger bottles their hoisin is the bees knees. As is their sweet chilli.
I rarely cook meat just for me though. It tends to be prawns or fish. Or just veg.
I find the stir-fry packs to big, I don't want to keep eating them for days, so end up throwing half away. So I cook dry noodles and discovered that tinned beans shoots are lovely and crisp. I like the Blue Dragon sauces as well, and a few cashew nuts.
Not a big fan of take-aways, much prefer to stir-fry myself. I order one occasionally, when I fancy some ribs.
I cook the whole lot Frazz then reheat in the wok the next day or a day or two later. You can ding them too if you’d rather. I take out half before I add the prawns. Sains do fresh noodles for one or two. The veg packs are the bit you have to double up on.
That's a good idea to save half Tinks before adding prawns, chicken whatever. I've started shopping again in Sainsbury, I'll look out for the smaller packs of noodles.
