It's going to get very terrible The M20 motorway has already disappeared underwater Traffic officials have been forced to close the M25 after a crash revealed two sinkholes on the central reservation North-eastern parts of England and the Midlands are expected to bear the brunt of the downpours on Tuesday, with a yellow 'danger to life' warning
I had to tip my waterlogged bamboo containers over this morning to get them out of the trays they sit it to normally conserve water. That's a first!
I left empty trays on the patio yesterday, they are 3" deep and now overflowing, need to decant into buckets and watering cans now. It hammered down overnight and my car, which needed cleaning, it's now spotless! No local flooding here, fortunately.
We've had a fair amount of rain, but I doubt we'll have any flooding as the Close is up a hill. It's set to continue for a few days 😳 but, luckily, I haven't got to go out as this week is filled up with goods' deliveries and workmen. 😜
Like Frazz I had to tip the water out of some of the patio pots, the poor Petunia's were awash and the holes obviously haven't been able to cope with the constant deluge of the last few days

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
I couldn't understand why a newly potted bamboo was under water today. I only potted it a 2-3 weeks ago, I had forgotten to drill holes in the bottom. Doh!
