I have a good selection of crafting materials and don’t have to go to work anymore Liv so plenty of time to play. I was always told at school that I couldn’t sew and couldn’t do Art. It’s other people’s art work that I can put together in a way that links to the people am crafting for. I like to know who I am making for , a personal connection.

Same here, FP. I have the distinction of being the only girl in my school to ever get 0 out of 100 for needlework, not one redeeming feature was found! I wasn't bad at art as long as animals were not involved. I can knit and crochet but really found my metier when I discovered papercraft. As you say, it is other people's art made personal and it is fascinating,
I love the card, it's gorgeous.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
Our art teacher at school was known for being very encouraging and nurturing but said to me 'you don't really have an artistic bone in you, do you dear? '
