You probably all know about this, but it was a revelation to me, I cannot praise it enough. I no longer have to vacuum every day and it is brilliant on clothes and soft furnishings.
I had something similar years ago for removing hair from clothes etc these days I use the handheld Gtech multi for the cat hair ut I might give this a go, thanks Cass

We furminate 4 of the 7 cats daily - the others don't like it and, luckily, they are the short-haired ones but everywhere they sleep and sit and clean themselves gets cat hair.We even bought a none-too-cheap hand-held vacuum with a pet hair attachment and it was useless.
Our big Miele vac. is brilliant, but lugging it up and down the stairs daily and fitting the extension lead and taking it out to the balcony cushions too, is a real chore.
The fur magic comes with a mini travel one which Sam uses to rid his trousers of hair before leaving in the morning as the cats love to twine round his legs.
I read the reviews and saw how cheap it was and thought it was probably a load of hype but at least it is cheap. Even Sam the gadget man is impressed and that doesn't often happen...
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
After Cass' recommendation I bought the Fur Magic, when it arrived it looked like an updated version of the one's that were about in the 70's so I wasn't sure how good it'd be, I used it today and it's amazing.
I tried it everywhere the cats leave their hair, the curtains and curtain linings where they brush against them when they jump up onto the window cills, the top of the sofa, the bed valances and the guest bed where Saffy sleeps it removed all of it and it was much quicker than the vacuum. It's so easy to clean, you insert the brush into the sleeve and it removes and collects all the hair in the base. Thanks Cass

I haven't used mine yet, good reminder about the curtain linings. Boots, as did Jasper, likes to squeeze between the middle of the curtains that separate the lounge from the dining room at night.
Mine usually access the cills from the ends i.e. between the wall and the curtains and so deposit their hair at the outside edge and every pleat of the linings!

We have been quite lucky with Rosie as she has never been one for climbing on the furniture. However, we can't guarantee that pooch #2 will be so well behaved. I have filed this away for future reference.
If only we had one when the cats were around. Aside from the sofas, on every window the curtains had fur at the bottom of the central join and at either side!
