As I am off work I watched last nights on catch up today. It was OK but would have been better for me without that big headed, arrogant shite Paul Hollywood
I really like Paul Hollywood (then again, I like JO too!), but even he isn't enough to make me watch. Mr EB hasn't mentioned or watched it. I wonder if he is aware it has started again?
It's a bit ageist this year - apart from one 56 year old lorry driver all the rest appear to be well under 40 - and I fear it has been well and truly Channel 4d now and will become just another stepping stone to "celebrity" for the participants. I'd never really thought of it as reality tv before but........
Don't agree with last night's eviction either.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I am not interested in PH's private life, he won't be the last silly man to have his head turned by a younger woman but I like him as a presenter. There would be hardly anything to watch on TV if we stopped watching because someone had been a silly arse unfaithful idiot. I alao like the (happily married and faithful) Jamie Oliver and never quite understand why he gets so much flack. Re Bakeoff, I quite liked Tattooed/manbun fellow and thought it was a shame that he left. Sam took an instant dislike to his hairdo and chest tattoo but we both thought that the young man who had to start again every round should have gone. I look forward to getting to know them all a bit better...
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I've set the series on to record and watched last night's episode this afternoon.
I don't care what any of the presenters have done in their private lives and do like the "banter" that goes on between them. I'm sure I read somewhere that the average age of the contestants is the lowest ever.
The woman who got Star Baker yesterday seems a tad "affected" to me, going on her facial expressions and head movements and her mock surprise at winning it when she knew how well she'd done in the other two "rounds."
