Doesn't sound like Die for nothing you know! I've spent hours on my knees ... But I digress. 34 has been renovating her house and Jones & I have been helping Anyway, what I wanted the ask was this - What paint do you recommend for woodwork, those pesky door frames & skirtings? I remember we did have a discussion about it once before but I'm jiggered if I can find it. Gloss paint now turns yellow because of the bluddy EU interfering so I need an alternative. 34 bought satin finish but I think it's Looks like posh emulsion I had a wander around B&Q but their were too many cans of this and that and the walls started closing in on me so I came home. I'd appreciate any suggestions - About paint that is.

I always use Satinwood too, it goes on easily, no yellowing, dries quickly and you clean the brushes with water, also I use a small sponge roller when doing doors, quick and easy without runs or brush marks, brilliant!
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong

It's not the EU's fault if peeps refuse to inspect the patio more often, ciggie smoke is terrible for white gloss. I should know, I never inspect my patio.
Tip 2: Under no circumstances use B&Q paint, it is sh*te.
I generally use Dulux satinwood and it's still white after 9 years. However, I also used Wilko satinwood in the bathroom and when I recently redecorated it, after the refurb, the paintwork didn't need doing (thankfully) as that's also stayed white. 👍

I never smoke indoors Mr M.
34 did buy some unknown brand so maybe that explains a lot. I found it looked OK on new skirting she'd had to replace but awful on the old stuff. What about eggshell?
