I can't quite understand how this oil works so quickly, or if the pain would have stopped anyway.
Having spent the day preparing and slicing fruit and vegetables for chutney today, I've had cramp in my thumbs this evening. After about 10 mins massaging oil into my hands it stopped and my hands feel fully relaxed now. I might try rubbing some in before I start tomorrow and see what happens.
It works very quickly with me Frazz or maybe it is better at stopping some pains than others. Either way, it works for me and hopefully is helpful to others,

It seems to work for me, Frazz and cassandra. I've had no more problems with my foot, or leg cramps, since I started using it, touch wood.
I wonder if it would help loosen up my left hand a bit when I practice guitar. It already seems to be a little freer since I started rubbing the oil on my legs, so maybe I should try putting some directly on the backs of my hands.
It couldn't do any harm to try it. Perhaps one day I'll master that B major chord...
I'm doing that as well Bob, is does seem to be loosening them a bit. Pleased to say the irritation issue is improving.
My sister apparently takes a magnesium tablet and she said it has made a big difference to her restless legs. I might ask the doctor about taking them when I go for the flu jab.
I think I read somewhere that the oil is more effective than the tablets, Frazz , but I don't know if that's right...
I believe it is because it is easily and quickly absorbed through the skin and does not have to go through the whole digestive system which is slow and some of it is excreted It could also perhaps react with other meds.

My oil eventually turned up and I've used it this morning on my knees - not sure how much to use though. Had no tingling reaction but there was a slight oily residue so I didn't cover them for about 30 mins but it must surely have rubbed off on my trousers. No result as yet but I shall persevere.
How many squirts do you recommend per large knee please?
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
Although it is called magnesium oil,, it is not actually an oil and does not damage clothing. I spray a little onto my palm and rub it in well. You can target specific areas. I tend to rub it into the soles of my feet for a generalised benefit.

I find it takes ages to totally absorb, a bit too clammy to use at night. A couple of good squirts where needed seems to be sufficient for me. I think regular application is probably more effective than using large amounts. Hope it helps with your knee.

Do you not slither about, Cass? I know it's not strictly an oil but it did feel greasy to me - I'm going to try it tonight on my feet, under my bedsocks.
