They really are no trouble once healed only needing a clean around the piercing occasionally. You just leave them alone which suits me as I can't abide poking pins through my own ears. If ever I fancy a change I have to wait for one of my daughters to do it. I might go back to have the off centre anti tragus ring fitted in the other ear making 3 earrings each side & then I'm done.
It seems to be standard throughout the profession Frazz I've also seen tattoo's notices stating they want a deposit before inking. The barber shop I visit is also cash only.
I'll ask him lily There were models of several... do-dahs showing piercing sites & jewellery options in a glass case. 28 said I was studying them far too closely.
I like the flower tattoo with the little stud in the middle.........
Fancy a tragus piercing but my other cartilage piercing hurt for about three years so not sure. I also quite fancy having my nose pierced - ring or stud though, that is the question!
34 has got a nose ring. Tragus is my favourite piercing. 28 says it's chavvy to have them in both ears (who knew!?) so that's why I fancy an anti tragus, but off centre (avoiding the thick bit) in the other ear.
I had my nose pierced about 40 years ago, long before it was a ‘thing’. I have only ever had a flat stud except for my nose to ear jewellery worn to Indian weddings. In answer to your question, Toril, ihaving a cold makes not the slightest difference , the little stalk doesn’t affect nose blowing or get in the way.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I wouldn't mind having the upper lobe and the anti-tragus piercing. I would probably wear three small cubic zirconias. The threesome would be attractive to me.

I've been told the same thing by others, cassandra.
I have a co-worker who has a piercing in her belly button. She was telling me about it and I found myself holding my stomach. I told her I would be too much the coward to have a piercing in that area. It's the fear of the pain.
It's also the fear of pain that would keep me from getting a tattoo of a little rose on my thigh or something like that.
