When I make my next trip to t'airdressers Im going darker
Fed up being blond now
I was thinking the same thing, maybe get some low lights? I am a natural blonde but it does get boring.... Also if you have fair skin and blue eyes I think darker hair really accentuates that.
Reminds me of the time I dyed my hair chocolate brown when I was 17. It got everywhere & my friend who dyed it resorted to nail varnish remover to get it off my forehead, neck & ears & off her fingers. Ooo, it did sting. Anyway, I thought it looked the dog's dinner until fair roots showed up. Looked as if I was going grey after a bit so I decided to abandon it & bought a dye remover. Next thing I know, I'm jaffa orange! Not a word of a lie. I cried.
I've really only ever gone for a few multi coloured highlights back when that was the fashion. These days I'm a couple of shades lighter than my natural almost black. Almost black hair dye is so darned unflattering. But even so I have some areas where the grey roots show through and some where dark roots show through.
I do keep asking my hairdresser if I need to go lighter but she keeps saying not yet.
Never been blond in my life. I don't think it would suit me for a start but it would be a hell of a dye job to turn me blond.
My sister used dye her hair black a few decades ago, I decided I fancied trying it as well. Bought the home kit which had a sachet of pre-dye to start with. Never bothered to test it on my already dyed blonde hair....
Had to walk around with lime green hair like Grotbags for about 2-3 weeks!
My hair has always been fair, slowly turning grey but needs highlights. Would love to try chestnut but really don't think it would suit me. I should go to a department store and try on wigs for fun.

I have always wanted to do that. I had a friend who could change her whole personality by wearing different coloured wigs. She loved to surprise people.
I've had a green tinge Frazz. It was when I put mid brown on top of my platinum blonde tresses. Another hairdresser visit.
Another time I had to mascara all around my hairline. My blonde quiff and side bits I looked so washed out I looked like Bobby Charlton under artificial lights.
