Two bags of chocolate raisins, 5 bars of Cadbury's Fruit & Nut, 5 four-packs of Smarties, a 4-pack of Kopparberg Mixed Fruits and a bottle of Moet & Chandon - my family know me so well!!
Having an Indian Take-away tonight as well, so I don't have to cook. That is a compromise between eating out and cooking at home - it's only a few days since my birthday and we went out then so it seems a bit extravagant to eat out again!!
Happy Mother's Day to those celebrating and much love to those missing their lovely mum's today. My own darling mum has been gone for 23 years. Too long ago. She was too young.
I've been out on my allotment today. A bit flipping chilly and damp but I'm on schedule.
Home to a Jo Malone gift bag from Baby Tink with English Pear & Freesia tucked inside. Lovely.
He's cooking dinner ... Harissa chicken, potato wedges and veggies. Should be yummy.
Just been on the phone to DS for a bit, but my two have done me proud with a lovely mix of treats and cards. With a special mention to my young granddaughter who handcrafted me a very sweet card from her and her little brother.....entitled 'Shop till you Drop' and embellished with little cut-out bags and coloured crystals.
I told my son that I didn't want a present or card, but that the ideal gift was to work his way down the list of jobs that needed doing that I can't manage at the moment. And true to form, he completed the list ............ at break neck speed.
Awww, nice of YouGuys to add to this thread. Thanks to y'all who think Thnarly's a PrettyKitty - she's da PosterKitty for RescueKitties. In daDen, anyway. Whether you is a Mamma or not, daDen hopes you had a fab day. My FourFoots let me sleep this afternoon (listened to EdgarAllanPoe on Radio4Extra). 'Bout 6:30, she did herTrick for getting my attention to meet HerDemands. TractionJump off MammaJellyBelly, down to daFloor. And Repeat.
Rarely needs to do it more than twice. smileys-characters-633834
