I've done pottery classes where you make things in moulds. A flipping sight easier. And you can make figurines and things. I have a lovely small sitting cherub I made in my lounge. Its a creamy white but burnished with gold. I must have other things around the house.

Same here Tinkerbelle. I made a nativity set that way and the thinker and a very large cherub, that surprisingly is also creamy white and burnished with gold. I wonder if we have the same one tinks?
I tried using a potters wheel once but was hopeless. As a kid I used to like making figures out of chalky plaster poured into moulds, penguins were my forte. Painting and varnishing them was fun.
