I hope you get it. The Christmas Post might have slowed everything down. I heard this morning that Yodel has said they can't guarantee their one day deliveries.
Toril did you get an email today re delivery delays?

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your support. You may remember from our previous email, that we advised our customers that their poppy would be delivered in January / February 2015.
We are delighted to announce that we are currently ahead of schedule and have successfully delivered over 250,000 poppies. Deliveries have been programmed by a combination of factors that do not necessarily correlate to customer locations or the time of the order. You may receive your poppy before friends and neighbours over the coming weeks but if you do not it does not mean the order has gone missing.
Unfortunately, the recent unprecedented demand for pre- Christmas deliveries being experienced nationally will now slow the rate of delivery over the next couple of weeks. We understand that this may cause some disappointment for those customers who have not yet received their poppy, please be assured that each poppy is being packaged individually and will be delivered as soon as possible in the New Year. We are not able to give specific dates however you will be contacted prior to delivery by our delivery partner Yodel.
Any collections or returns will also be delayed and we apologise for any inconvenience in advance.
We understand that many people may have purchased a poppy as a gift in remembrance of a fallen soldier. In this case a gift certificate is available on the Order Status page which can be printed for use before the poppy arrives.
Please periodically access the Order Status page to see the status of your order, with further information available in our FAQ.
Please note the Contact Centre is unable to hasten deliveries.
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
They must have been reading this thread because I've just had the email, but it looks as though mine won't arrive until the New Year.

It arrived about half an hour ago - perfect, no sign of any damage. It had a bit of mud on it in places so I wiped off the bigger chunks and left the rest as it is special mud! It comes in a really cool box and has a certificate and a little booklet with it.
I'm really happy with it - I just wish OH had got his finger out quick enough to get one so we had one to pass on to each of the boys. Or at least told me he wasn't going to so I could order another!
Email arrived this morning, hotly followed by poppy an hour later!
There's mud, but like EB I'm happy with that, part of the whole thing. It will stay in the box to be given to my niece one day, along with a 2000 BC Greek coin my grandad found in the trenches and kept with him for luck.

I love things like that. I have my grandfather's medals from the Boer War and his Mauser, ( with the firing bits seen to), postcards from the trenches in WW1 from a great Uncle that was killed etc. My favourite is the love poem that my Dad wrote to my Mum. 29 read that out at her funeral.
