Any more stuff like that Yorko and you'll be labelled a progger!
This one is amazing though, '75 but first time I heard it was 78/79...
Today is hard to find and harder yet to hold It's paradise If you love right through in time it comes to you, yeah So walk in the sun now, life can be nice Just live to believe it and it's paradise Ooh, paradise Ooh, paradise I know of misery, unhappy-endlessly It's so hard to bear Reach down into my soul, pick it up, take control And then you're there It's everywhere And we can spend our days in paradise If we love right through We got to love right through We got to love right on through now We got to love Come on now and take my hand And feel my love Right on through to paradise Oh, paradise We resolve that we're here together in the bad times and the good But when differences arise around us, we don't forget them like we should And that's no good, so I'm over here and you're over there and The truth between us sometimes hides When I need you as much as you need me, well then, why must we take sides? sides Many miles of ocean blue, separate our lives as we grow And just because we're all different people, There's so much more to kno So much more to know So I'm over here and you're over there and the truth between us sometimes hides When I need you as much as you need me, well then, why must we take sides When I needed you as much as you needed me, well then, why did we take sides
Oh but don't you just love a bit of Hellraiser and Blockbuster?!
I love the Tony Blackburn hours on radio 2 on a Saturday as long as they're 50s, 60s or 70s. First hour tomorrow is 74!
I am going to make a special point of listening @tinkerbelle and need to find out what time it starts.
1974 will have Magic by Pilot! And perhaps Rock Your Baby, Gonna Make You A Star, Seasons In The Sun, Tiger Feet, Waterloo, Sugar Baby Love, Billy Don't Be A Hero and my favourite Everything I Own (Boy George you ruined it ha ha!)
Oh yes. I'll be putting on a fresh tank top and eating my Cornflakes and go out on my Chopper afterwards.
Starts at 1pm on Radio 2. Second hour is 1982. I listen most weeks.
Then you've also got a two hour seventies only show on Radio 2 on Sunday at 3pm
I listen to the radio a lot. And sadly I know the schedule off by heart. If you miss anything its available to "listen again" through the radio 2 website
