You need to add that to how fast the solar system travels around our galaxy, which as a whole is hurtling through the cosmos at around 372 miles per second. Good luck!
The sun and the solar system appear to be moving at 200 kilometers per second, or at an average speed of 448,000 mph (720,000 km/h). Even at this rapid speed, the solar system would take about 230 million years to travel all the way around the Milky Way. The Milky Way, too, moves in space relative to other galaxies. 19 Oct 2023

The 29,000,000 miles a day figure was the speed we are escaping from the "Big Bang" all those millions of years ago, be worth working out how far we've travelled in total.
Add in the speed the Earth moves round the sun and how fast the sun moves around the galaxy and it's a pretty scary fairground ride.
Patricia didn't arrive till 1985 after many line up changes. Back in 1981 they weren't even proper goth and their debut EP 'Damage Done / Watch / Home Of The Hitmen' was absolutely terrible, yet was changing hands for £100 when 'This Corrosion' was released.
The Smiths' (probably more likely Morrissey's) inspiration for 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now' comes from a 1969 Sandie Shaw song 'Heaven Knows I'm Missing Him Now'.
They're light years apart and I'm guessing most here will prefer Sandie Shaw. I'd poll it but I've forgotten how.
I learnt absolutely nothing today despite being sat in a classroom for 7 hours. Yes it was the bi-annual CPC training, it used to be annual but they are catching up still after missed days during Covid.
Tell I lie, I learned Dow Egberts coffee is bloody revolting. Free but revolting.
The reason why 'Red Delicious' apples are called that (despite not tasting of much) is because they used to be a lot tastier.
They also used to be red and yellow, instead of just plain red. However, people bred them to look red all over, so that they looked nicer... but unfortunately, the yellow bits were what gave it its sweet flavour!
