I'm going to have to 'fess up.' It was too hot yesterday to do much after work, other than sit in my cool lounge, and I was channel hopping and caught the Nadal/Brown score when Brown was up in the third set ............... so I watched the rest of the match, albeit just a set and a bit. It was mainly because I usually root for the 'underdog' but mainly because Brown's play was incredible. I may even have to watch his next match ........ if I'm not away or busy.
And there was me, in an earlier post, saying I'd only watch Wimbledon if Andy reached the final.
I thought I was watching the biggest upset this evening, but got to wait till tomorrow now. Looks like Djokovic will come through now. I thought Anderson was going to pull it off, but you never know.
I was so disappointed that Coco Vandeweghe did win today. I wanted her to knock out the screecher, Sharapova. She plays Serena next.
My least favourite player has been shooting his mouth off I see
“It was a good match,” said Federer. “I got off to a good start and kept rolling. Maybe Roberto wasn't at his very best. Midway through the second [set], he hurt himself. Still, he was out there and he was actually still moving okay, so I had to put him away, which I was able to do.”
