"She was left horrified to be told to move her vehicle in store announcement"
"Would Lady Jobsworth kindly return to the store parking area and move your car so that other shoppers with IQ's of three figures may be able to park in the correct areas, thank you"
My neighbour gets the pip if anyone parks outside of her house on the road. It makes me chuckle. My son used to park there and she used to bollock him for doing so.
Now that really pipped me off as with anyone else she just used to huff and puff. So I started parking there and she never said a word. So silly.
In the end her husband took his car out of their garage and left it parked there all the time. The ultimate in pettiness!!
Next episode in this saga lol. About three weeks ago my neighbour sold his car as he now has a motorbike. His wife still has her car but the space outside their house is now a free for all. This weekend SOMEBODY has dared to park a Mercedes estate outside their house. It was there yesterday I noticed and might actually have been there since Saturday.
This morning I couldn't believe me eyes when yer man was taking photos of the car!! Granted it is parked a few inches over the entrance of their drive but the wife's car is a mini so its not blocking her getting in and out. He took photos of it back, front and side on. The parking police are alive and well in my street lol

Twice we have come home from holiday in the early hours to find next door have either parked on our drive or in front of it - On one occasion I had to wake them up the next morning at about 9 0'clock as I needed my car to collect Boris and Katya from the cattery.
How pathetic. He doesn't own the road, his car tax doesn't cover that.
I can't see the difference between his car being parked there and another car. Its one thing perhaps not wanting to look out on a parked car but what's the difference between one car and another.
The only person inconvenienced by anyone parking there is me. I have to do a 52 point turn to get out of my drive. Or reverse straight across into their drive and then get out that way. I used to do that when it was his car blocking my drive but I won't now. Before it was fair game and I know it used to piss them off so it was worth it. )
Honestly they are nice people, just a bit peculiar. They're the first to run to me if they want help or the cats feeding.

What does he work at? Maybe he's a traffic warden.
Not sure what he does AF but his office is right near mine so he's deffo not a traffic warden. He looked more like a smurf this morning he was so blue in the face.
It sounds like he's one of those petty little Job's Worth citizens. I can't stand the breed. It's bad enough being his neighbour, but just imagine being married or related to him.
It pees me off that our local Sainsbury has flipping hundreds of mother and child spaces right near the store entrance. As Tinks says, when ours were little uns they didn't have them, we just parked and lugged child and shopping to the car, it's not rocket science. I'm glad she was told to move her car, silly cow.
As DD has said, if the supermarkets made all the spaces just that little bit wider there would be no need for Mum & kids dedicated parking spots. Whilst obviously still keeping the wider spaces for disability badge holders.
I've seen blokes alone in their cars blatantly park in the family spaces and stroll off into the supermarket. And yes I have drawn the attention of the guys who collect up the trollies to this. Whether they choose to do anything is up to them.
