I really don't like the old fashioned clothes he wears. There are so many great kids clothes these days, I wonder why they choose such traditional things, they don't look very practical.

Yes indeed, that is a very traditional smocked top as worn by all babies and toddlers, of both sexes, in photos of bygone years. I like the colour matching needlework with his bright red shorts.
They were hardly going to put him in a Superman / Postman Pat T shirt! Lol
big laugh I know she doesn't, but what I really meant was practical in terms of comfort for playing in, rolling around on the floor, climbing on to things.

So true! Not all teachers are good at picking clothes for their children. I am that example! Mind you the amount of money you have to spend on your children's clothes is a key factor. Not many can afford her prices.
