On Saturday I placed an order with them which I thought was pretty good. It was a pack of 25 sheets of double sided cardstock, Christmassy design, £4.76 down from £26 ish. The order arrived Monday but oh dear, I had been sent just one sheet of paper! I phoned up and spoke to someone who apologised profusely and placed a repeat order for me. It arrived this morning, can't fault them on their delivery, but guess what? Yes, just one sheet of paper again!
I am now on hold while another representative investigates............................bugger, there is no way to emphasise to the person packing that it should be 25 sheets so all they can do is cancel my order and refund my money. There goes my Christmas card making plan. I will have to think of something else now. Unfortunately, time is a little short. *switches to panic mode*
But that's plain silly. If they can explain to someone to pack two copies of a CD or a book or whatever why can't they pack more than one piece of paper. And even more silly ... who the hell buys ONE sheet of paper?

Especially for a rrp of £26 - they must think it's a really special sheet of paper! Even at the sale price that's a lot for one sheet! I suppose their list will say '2x something' or '3x' or whatever. Mine says '1x' and they are interpreting that as one sheet, opening the pack of 25 sheets and taking one out.
I'm thinking they might have taken on a lot of inexperienced staff to cope with Black Friday!
What was almost as daft was the size of box it arrived in - 14 x 20 x 11 inches! - for one sheet of 12 inch square paper!!
My sympathies EB as I'm not too chuffed with Amazon atm! Can I ask how you managed to actually speak to someone?
I had so much bother with my Black Friday order, which they sent out from Germany and which took ages with some very weird and confusing tracking info.
Sacha, if you click on 'Help' (blue letters, just above search box)(on the Amazon home page) you get a list of topics. If you then click on 'Need more help' one of the options that comes up to the right is 'Contact Us'. I normally then have to log in. Next page is 'What can we help you with' and if you tick the relevant order, follow the boxes, you get the option to contact them by email, phone or live chat. If you choose phone, you enter your number and they then phone you so it costs nothing. (The call is usually from an 0353 number which is Eire - just in case you wonder who on earth is calling!!)
Thanks EB for the info above. I did try getting them to ring me back, which they did, but the conversation went badly as I really couldn't understand the other person...in the Philipines. I tried ringing again myself and again spoke to someone thousands of miles away. I had to give up and rely on emails which took some time for a response.
Speaking to someone in Eire would have been much easier. And then there was Hermes in the mix..... 8-|

What a bummer EB. I have made my cards for neighbours and friends on Sunday but have to make the family ones yet. I have got as far as getting out some Christmassy coloured cardstock and thinking about firing up the silhouette. I want to make a Christmas cat in the window decal for the kitchen too.
