I had those plastic slotted squares - I loved them, they were brilliant. I built so many things with them. I seem to remember there were cylindrical ones at some stage too. Oh the memories!

They're called Play Plax. I loved anything that slotted together. And I was more Lego than Meccano.
I tried to find Play Plax when my boys were little but had no success. You can buy it now, though, I found their website. Maybe if google had been around then I would have found some!!
Maybe I should ask Santa for some for my Christmas present this year - my poor addled brain might just about cope with slotting coloured squares together! It would keep me distracted.
So serious looking AF, I wonder what you were thinking about
And how 70's purple carpet and orange curtains (we've all been there) LOL
Yes isn't there something about seventies settees and sofas, also curtains? Limited choice of styles compared to now? I expect Allied Carpets didn't have storecards then. And on one of my reports I remember the art teacher had put that I did 'deep and disturbing work' - heaven knows what kind of drawings I did.
