I can't get onto the website as I have forgotten my password since last Christmas and our email is down thanks to talktalk but I am ready and determined that this year I will do all I plan for Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas. I have made an 8x8 book using Christmas papers but cut down on the number of pages so I don't have to do every day. It runs from Dec 1st to Jan 6th. Basically you take photos for each day following her prompts and do some journalling following her prompts. Christmas memories, Christmas activities, your Christmas meal planner sort of thing. Should be easier this time. 12x12 is too much!
I'm not convinced anyone in the future would want to read about my Christmas activities.
1 Drank too much mulled wine and got maudlin
2 Ate too many roasties and got indigestion
3 Ate too many Brussels and got trapped wind
4 Dropped off for a little nap after doing all the cooking, clearing away and washing up - only to be woken up by demands for turkey sandwiches!
5 Lobbing of stocking tangerines at idle gits who can't even get off the sofa to make a cup of tea for themselves but seem not to have lost the ability to open bottles of real ale and wine.

Number 5 with a picture is a great one Nellie. Some of your Christmas memories will be good ones - my favourite is when my rather merry mother and father pulled my sister and I home on our wooden sledge in the snow after a Boxing Day party.Unfortunately no pictures of that one. Another memory is that we also went to Wales at Christmas time when we very young and one of my aunts would dress up as a fairy and another as a witch at the family party to give out the presents. This year you and Mr Nellie could take some photos about your first Christmas in your new home- the lights on the prom, the tree etc etc.

It's the whole of the Christmas period you journal and photograph - wrapping the presents for The Coglet and his bride, taking the Princess out on a frosty walk. Come on you lot Christmas can be fun!

Do you know something I don't? When I asked him recently if he was thinking of getting married, he said he didn't see the point scared1
