Yesterday we went to the Southern Italian Spinone Christmas party.
There were games, including musical sits, musical down stay, and the ever favourite sausage scramble. This involves you throwing a sausage, and sending your dog to retrieve and bring it back. Needless to say, all except one dog, scoffed the sausage as soon as they got their gnashers round it.
There must've been 30-40 dogs, including 6 gorgeous puppies, not a snarl or growl all day.
They had a Christmas quiz, we came second, lots of lovely food, and the highlight, a visit from Santa, with a gift for each dog. The Princess got 2 cos her friend Flo didn't want hers. She hasn't opened it yet, it's under the tree.
Barking mad, absolutely!! LOL
