These are the images that are trending a storm right now on Instagram, Flickr and Twitter sanjum and I think I did really well because I didn't eat much at all as you will see from the images. To begin with I wasn't going to stay because it was too claustrophobic for me and I couldn't bear being squashed in between people and so I would have missed out but I was persuaded to stay and got a place right at the end of one of the long tables. Day's restaurant is in the heart of the town and these pictures show the outside and inside plus the water feature and some of the residents that arrived first, I think it cost £450 for 41 people. The very last photo is where the stairs lead down to the toilets only the disabled ones were right by our table only we never realised and so I did one wasted journey.
The next photos (I did it in two posts because I wasn't sure how many images per post are allowed) are of the meals I had and some photos of the others in our group. When we left it was raining and so we walked to the bus stop under some of the shop shelters - the last photo shows what a rainy day it is today.
This was south Indian lamb curry and Thai red curry and chicken Tikka masala with steamed rice that I put together but then forgot to take the picture so I'm afraid this one is half-eaten.
Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, Hong Kong noodles, beef, mushrooms and special fried rice.
Chicken nuggets in sweet and sour sauce with barbecue spare ribs.
Lamb jalfrezi, Mutter mushroom and pilau rice.
Raspberry gateau, strawberry gateau, chocolate gateau - there was one piece left and there was this lady and we agreed to cut it in half to share it!
I like this photo because it doesn't show how fat my tummy really is. dancing Baby
I don't think you look fat at all, you seem quite tall in that photo?
I am 183 and 90kgs so Mr. Average but there is MAS which is not visible - actually I need to find some exercises to gain a flat stomach again or is that impossible?
