Sorry Berry McPaper-cuts,but no one can sell turkey to me. We used to have pork or a capon when I was a child -you don't see them around in these parts these days.
Turkey (crown) and Gammon at the house of Itchy. It would not feel like Christmas without them. Also they are not too complicated for little old me to cook. As you might know, I hate cooking and I am not very good at it either. I do however try and make a little more effort for Christmas.
Yesterday we bought my Baileys lookalike and sherry in Lidl. I have had the Baileys before and I really like it but have never tried their sherry. I hope I don't end up pouring it down the sink!

It will be as good as the pricier ones Itchy. I have to cook a decent meal on Eve as well as the day itself and Boxing Day as 33 and his wife will be arriving to stay. Oddly , because I don't enjoy cooking either, both my boys can cook. I can produce tasty meals but the process does not thrill me. I'd rather be doing something else.
Turkey and all the trimmings for us on Christmas Day but my SiL - La Grinch - won't eat Xmas pud so I've bought a small Blumen Hestonhall sticky toffee apple pudding.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
