My hair is finally settling down to it's normal state after being conditioned. I tried this today which seems to have worked quite well, after I had found my magnifying glass to read the instructions! Even people with perfect vision must have trouble reading the microscopic print they put on everything nowadays.
I have to use rollers, as opposed to blow-drying, now my hair is longer but it still worked.
I've got a tip. NEVER use beaten egg to bring a shine to your hair.
It was apparently all the rage at one time (eons ago.) I thought I'd try it in my teens (which were definitely eons ago ) I'm blonde and so my hair is never that shiny so I decided to apply the beaten egg (as per instructions) onto hair that was nearly waist length at that time. What they didn't say was "don't rinse it with hot water!" You've guessed it .............. getting scrambled egg out of one's hair is very time consuming.
On a brighter note though .............. the product that Nellie recommended, to use when using straighteners, is really good.
It made my mum laugh too, but I was less than amused because I was due to go out on a date. Mum was cracking up trying to help by picking out dollops of cooked egg. I then washed my hair again (without any added extras) and managed to get out on time, which was a miracle to be honest.
I haven't done that Toril but its a bloody miracle I haven't. Not beauty related but I have done that cartoon classic of standing on a rake and having it smack me on the forehead. Christ on a bike that hurt. I had a huge lump on my forehead. It sent me funny for a bit lol.
