Seems expensive for the size of the stones, 3mm rhodolite garnets are pretty small. I'll happily wear rhodium or platinum plated SS, but definitely not gold overlay.
Yes its the gold overlay I'm not keen on! I'm not precious but if I love them and wear them to death the plate will wear off which is just so darned disappointing.
I watched the Gold Gever show also, though turned the sound down after a bit. Mark, although a very nice fella, seems to love, love , love everything about everything. You can't say he's not enthusiastic! I also heard, briefly, from someone on Q that he's related to the Asscher family.
I did but I actually really like delicate jewellery. Most QVC reviews for Links of London trash it for being tiny or "better suited to a child" when I like it. And the ring is now on a clearance price. The reviews wouldn't necessarily put me off if I really wanted to try it.
I only popped in & out @sacha. Too may earrings to hold my interest for the solid hour, but I do like Mark & Charlie presenting together. I think Charlie actually listens to what the guest expert has to say. He's heard it all before I'm sure, but Charlie doesn't take over like certain other presenters do.
I'm in the cheap seats as well @tinkerbelle. I've got a very similar bombe ring in steel, but it ain't half heavy. The gold ring looked more refined.

I had to return an Asscher cut ring - it reminded me too much of a cobweb.
Lol Nellie . That's a shame as it is a very coveted cut. I was lucky enough to get a trilogy tanzanite ring from TJC at a good price and the cut of the blue stones is rather more subtle. Attachment Deleted But if your purchase was an IF and D colour rock as shown above in Frazz's post......
