I ordered the new dishwasher from Currys at 5.50 p.m. last night and it was installed and up and running by 10.30 a.m. this morning and the old one taken away. I reckon that is good service.

I think that was the decider for Mr FP when I made it clear that I would not be doing it myself when the poor old machine broke down completely if a new one had not been bought. Checked our water hardness when setting it up ( salt or no salt) and discovered we are in the no salt needed category and our delicious water comes from Haweswater in The Lakes.
Fabulous service. I do have a dishwasher but I often wash things "by hand" particularly things like the cats' food bowls. I usually wash pots and pans by hand too. Once Baby Tink moves out it will take me days to fill the darned dishwasher lol.
That's the thing isn't it Tinks? There are four of us here and the men are always using cups and plates. It would never enter their head to just rinse out their mug after a if they are making themselves another one.
When they move out and it's just the two of us it will probably take a lot longer to fill the dishwasher.

There is a half load and an Eco button for a quicker wash and also a shorter delicate wash and you can use the Vario Speed button to cut down on the time of heavier washes- I am not trying to flog you one Tinks.
